Maybe Walking or Doing Puzzles

What’s the most fun way to exercise?

Exercise might mean physical or mental exercises.

  1. I have played various sports all my life and used to work out in a gym in my college days.
  2. I walk everyday. I have walked almost all my life.
  3. For mental exercise : I read, write and do vocabulary tests.
  4. I frequently update my weblogs with results of my findings on tests like Peter Schmies Word Classification Test or United Nations World Food Program Website Free Rice or Michael Quinion’s World Wide Words or James Harbeck’s Sesquiotica.
  5. I also update weblogs when I find some strange interconnections between words and etymologies in languages like Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, English, Mandarin, Spanish etc and in local dialects used in Indian subcontinent especially in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.
  6. I think there can’t be a single fun way to exercise for everyone.
  7. Though it seems that labour you do to earn your living is also exercise or fun it isn’t so. It soon devolves into anxious anticipation for a raise, for a holiday , for a better future.
  8. Exercise which is done because a doctor advised you to do that or your yoga guru had a program for you or you wanted to come out of depression might be helpful but :
  9. Air Quality Index at most of the places doesn’t really prove that walking, jogging or other exercises are significantly going to help longevity.
  10. That’s all.

Bib and Bruises!

1. I began walking systematically again in 2019. I could run a bit last year. The performance is not bad from the viewpoint of that build-up personally for me.

Bib

2. Registered 13 titles in library. The bruises on feet are due to slippers alien to them. Also need to buy new slippers.

Time can’t heal timeless wounds!

1. Walked 80 minutes and played vocabulary jams on vocabulary.com. Walking without bag on back is easier. It is possible to complete marathon by using walk and run approach in turns. One of the challenges is to wake up in time on the day of marathon. My heels have cracks and toes have injuries and bruises because of excessive walking. But it’s not new. Time can’t heal timeless wounds.

2. Received 1123124 ranks but not in that order. Moon wasn’t visible today.

3. I own all the images. Though it used to be useless. Who owns what and for how long, yadda yadda.

4. PC and Stephen were missing today. Vimal Rajendran, Yang and another guy whose name is difficult to spell played well.

5. Got shaved. Had to borrow ten rupees. Returned 5 rupees that i had borrowed from the PUBG guy. The game got banned but memories are enough to run a mobile restaurant for youth!

6. We had some discussion in library. I didn’t know it rained in New Delhi. The clouds increased temperature here.

7. Made 100 rupees as a freelancer towards a job which was not completed. Learned to use Paytm. The call which was supposed to last 20 minutes took 2 hours 20 minutes. In 2011 i published a half-baked treatise named ‘A Cookbook For Genius’ on a freelancing site which gave me 25 coins. Then i had a full time job in Cognizant Technology Solutions and yet i couldn’t earn as a freelancer. People from Nigeria and other African countries quoted such low prices that they were immediately hired. I was new. I don’t know how long i can continue but once i am out of this pit i would never be able to forget how deeply entrenched i had become here because of these ancient relationships. You think they’re resolved but complexes keep coming to surface until your identity gets completely changed or you become all-in-all.

Preparing For Bundelkhand Marathon 2021!

1. I ran and walked for two hours with bag on my back.

2. I used to go for long walks. Twenty to twenty five kilometres taking about 3 hours with rest. It was actually less than two hours for 20 kilometres.

3. I walked inside Jhan jhan Devi temple a fortnight ago. Somvati Amavasya. It took me about 40 minutes for 12 kilometers. It means i need 100 minutes at max to complete 30 kilometres even if i walk. If I run I can do it in about 90 minutes.

4. I am going to continue practice with due diligence. I have about 10-12 days time.

5. Walking and running strategy would be useful for me as I have never participated before in a marathon.

6. “Why don’t you run?” Because I want to fly; i answered. Her words were ringing into my ears as if they were spoken just yesterday. She might have forgotten it already.

7. I recall Budhiya: the poor malnutritioned kid from Bihar who completed the marathon and won it–maybe- a decade ago. I won’t be more than Budhiya if I complete the marathon.

8. A. R. Rahman’s mother died. Rahman has a life path number 3. His mother died on a full Moon day. I was in the fields when it happened. Just a few days ago Anil drowned. He was also from South India. An actor. Rahman’s nasal touch in voice is because of dragon’s head placement in his chart. Strangely, as I was reading his chart it amazed me that his wife is named Saira Banu whereas his name was Dileep Kumar. Dileep Kumar, the legendary actor whose wife is also named Saira Banu was named Yusuf Khan first.

Rahman and Gulzar together received academy award for Slumdog Millionaire in which Irfaan Khaan and Anil Kapoor were part of cast. Irfaan Khaan passed away this year. I wanted to see him perform Osho in his biopic. Now that’s impossible.

They received academy award when their ages matched their root numbers. Gulzar was 81(born August 18), Rahman was 42(born January 6.)

9. It was Sarpa Yoni today with Devta gana as it happened. The serpent represents the North node of Moon. Sarpa also represent nagas or wise ones. Priests, Gandharva, singers who adorn neck of Shiva the dancing light of grace and beauty.

10. The synchronicity didn’t stop there. Anurag met me just outside Anurag City Centre: the mall as i was about to take left turn towards North to enter into Shatabdi where i practice running. He told me that he was going to meet Apoorva. Apoorva means unforeseen. It’s equivalent to Anoop which means unique or without comparison. Anoop shares date of birth with me. It’s the same date on which neighbor got married this year. The same date when another friend got married this year. The date when that marriage took place in Mangalam house in 2015. It was by chance i had a moment to look around and at the mantras near the place of worship where names were written with date. The date when engagement of my parents happened. The date when aunt got married and I collected 72 rupees in gullak: the clay pot.

11112020

1. I walked 24 rounds. Anti-clockwise. Inside stadium. I had a sprain in the right shoulder and I wanted to give it some rest. I didn’t run. There were not as many people today. I broke my previous record of 23 rounds. It seemed easier this time. (Based on Vrijpura experience: I can walk 50 rounds everyday! It means about three hours of walking everyday) I need to reduce flab on my tummy which is gradually increasing. I should continue to walk in evening as it’s the foundation for running. Morning bowling and evening walk should do the trick! All that you build up has to be maintained. Ah the rut!

2. Milind’s call kept me engaged. Couldn’t teach the kids. I enjoyed speaking to him. It was after a long time. He’s similar to Piyush in a way. Both of them seem to be intellectuals who connected with me because of my ideas and outlook on life.

Dazzling! 7 baloons

3. The earplugs were acting up. Now I need to buy another.(15 days for 50 rupees. Earplugs. Tennis balls. Internet recharges. Most minimalistic of lifestyles can’t be maintained. Regular getting of head shaved needs 50 rupees per week. Plus regular diet) The picture above was taken just outside the stadium where two gentlemen on bike were distributing sweets to kids who were standing near the lights. They asked me to take picture with kids but I didn’t because I am not sure of anything anymore. Piyush told me yesterday that it is illegal to take pictures of people without their consent. I click pictures of Sun and birds without their consent and if groups of people come in my way : I don’t bother to ask each one of them to give me space to take pictures but I need to be careful before I start making a million dollars per hour. Then I might be worth being sued. As of now : what I click or write is worth toilet paper or even lesser.

4. I played vocabulary jams. On three of them I scored 221 ranks. I want to play more if time allows.

5. Shri was happy today. She laughed a lot and scored well on test on clause. (45 out of 50) Her score in Hindi half-yearly exams is 56 marks out of 80. It’s less than 75 percent. Her friend scored 38 marks out of 80 which makes me a suitable candidate to teach her and I asked her to recommend me to her friend. But it’s not how it works here. I am anxious about her tomorrow’s test. After tomorrow we might be able to study new chapters and play some games of verbal intelligence. I need to buy another tennis ball.

Art!

6. The picture above was taken just in front of the Narasimha temple with the permission of the shop owner. I enjoyed teaching Rohan. Shops were all decorated with colors.

Chidambaram

1. I am sitting on grass and it feels soothing. Boys are exercising. I saw some stars and the Moon. Balance seems to have a number: seven.

2. After having taken the Grammar class: I ran for my life. I ran three plus rounds after burning some paper and tinder in the name of cleanliness in the Cricket Academy Ground. I do wonder about the scarcity of staff in the municipal corporation because the academy campus only gets accumulation of water bottles, pouches, gutka, tablets, plates, stray paper pieces. No one comes to clean it. I can take initiative at places : but it is only that much: an individual working to earn a wage. Cricket is the game of gentlemen : a solution can be to put garbage only in the dumping bags. Children need to be taught these habits by their guardians.

3. I took measurements. I walked multiple steps around the ground : clockwise and anticlockwise: taking middle, large and small routes. None of the measurements were same. What factors change the distance? Height, gravity, temperature, amount of work done etcetera. In short: I am not aware of all the parameters. It seems like I took a Physics practical class along with the English Grammar. I reckon that stadium : arena: academy are currently grounds for exercise: walking, running, sports, relaxation, keeping friendships, hanging out with friends as well as sledging and chastising with the help of whistles which control dogs, donkeys, cows, pigs and other animals. It took me many days to comprehend that QRF academy had kept pigs for disposing off their wet garbage. Most of the garbage that municipality takes away isn’t burnt. It’s only an inculcated notion that burning has precedence over other modes as far as ecosystem is concerned. I only saw regulation increase by and by. Earlier it was college, then teachers, then police and then military. Then the stuff kept increasing around you.

3. Freedom needs works. And it’s inherently part of duality: naming. You define a circle or a cube and call it your space until something comes to crack it down. Beyond time, there is greater time, beyond night there is greater night, similarly beyond voids there are greater voids. One of the greatest mysteries being resolved was: Swami Rama’s description of reaching among cannibals who were going to eat him. I don’t know if he died or merely fainted: fainting means losing consciousness temporarily. Games like boxing and violent arenas have many such patterns. Naturally: lack of nutrition results in weak life force. His whole story meant: he had reached a place where his life force was getting drained too fast. Like my concluding about the light needed to walk through the tunnel of the dark night.

4. Meaning of words. Counting. Reading and writing kept me employed for I had lost the identity. The gender benders were the tribal way of handling the outlaws. The urbane must have existed as eternally as the ancient. Spacetime is the game after a while. Scientific model needs work to generate power which sustains the energy: the reason why some tribes gave more importance to fire, others to water, and yet others to ether or Earth is in either their history or in the type of experiments which were carried out with people.
