Drizzle well

1. It’s drizzling. It has been since I stepped out of my house this morning. I didn’t take an umbrella with me. I sat down to watch the drizzle.

2. Under the neem tree. After taking a piss. Carefree. I sat on a piece of wood beneath the neem tree.

3. Freedom is my domicile. I’d rather sleep under a neem tree than in a house.

4. Kingfisher had company yesterday. All three of them did amazing somersaults. It filled my heart with joy! The kingfisher and Kingfisher perform the same act.

5. Parasite gulls are singing in the right ear of a cow. A host which lets them eat bugs. Nightingales are singing gingerly surly curly lyrically calculadora In every house there are wooden dolls.

6. Flies didn’t disturb today, though there was smell of rotting carrion of animals at couple of places. The beauty of the day is that the sounds of birds were far more sweet than the songs of nightingales.

7. laces of shoes I don’t need to tie. Because I don’t wear them. I don’t fear them pets which run at me because heedless owners carry them carelessly. It is because of you that I am so free and unconstrained.

8. The good news is: the baby owls are back. I saw a cat who was about to enter a house. It crossed my path and went towards left. Neem tree sings with me. Meme taxeme raceme meme. Mimetic tic tax toe nailed deleterious snail ailments gone one and only lyrically calculable ally The night is longer than I thought.

9. It was indeed. I wrote a good deal in 2015. The idea was to help others and oneself. The idea was impractical. It was the workshop which started in August and ended in September. The fifth of September reminds me of another heavy rains. I promised myself to get luxuries if I continued journaling. For it was material goods which do measure upto your advancement. Look how well I have done in a decade and half. My freedom is less than that of high school kids. I took a wrong turn somewhere without being aware of it. Or I say so because this is what someone somewhere would love to hear. Instead of: I am alpha beta gamma omega fatty acids tycoon cocoon croon noon on and on onion monsoon jejune junebug bugsbunny ninny etcetera que Serra serta seraglio oily lyre realtor torpor porous Susurrus omnibus succubus busted stead. Might as well be somebody else

10. Simha is the yoni of the Kaal purusha. I saw the cat who is aunt of the lion so it does make up as a sign. It is a myth. But it has been said that:

11. I think Sinha as a surname began as a modification of Simha. Lion is the only animal which has created so many surnames. Come to think of it: Shri Lankan people call themselves Singhalese. Singapore. I have heard that Bengali people settled first over there a long ago and they had simha as surname. So I think it might have been a Sanskrit word for the lion’s strength.

12. Other than lion the animal which has most used name us Ram. It’s because of the constellation Ramses. Like the constellation Regulus which governs the month of August and Simha is the animal. These are archetype symbols for studying collective consciousness. Which indicates that it is a collective animal consciousness that allows people to create mythology.

13. There are many cows grazing in the field. Owls have been singing Inglenook and cranny. The movie was a pathetic piece of work with ominous music which might make you vomit. So much for the art these days. You know what, go ahead and say it, you know I’m right.

14. I would rather watch a Hitchcock than bitch about some cock parking before the light house anyday. Whatever happened to baby Cane reerencing him or her in every other shot. He was a chubby sweet old man and you know what, [continues about the same two lines]

Komatsu Dragon Spits

1. It’s not a problem. It’s only a narration of an event. I was listening to the morning news near a Komatsu road roller which has skating wheels. I was thinking whether it’s a story or a narration.

2. When, I saw the driver approaching the vehicle. He was brushing. The driver was brushing the tire of the road roller.

3. On my way back from the tea stall: a guy with a stick in hand was chasing a cow. I saw the guy as I was passing by the Komatsu road roller which had been parked.

4. A driver was waiting for me to approach. He spit on ground. For the reason that I had been standing near the road roller. What did he not like? Did I do something illegal? No. Not as far as I know. I told him that I had not done anything.

5. Maybe he didn’t like my face. My presence. My attire. My walking style. It’s not for the first time I have seen couple of people spitting on road. They belong to Ku Klux Klan. The Saracen foundary established a pillar in Gandhi Smarak Bhavan garden. She is the daughter of M.S. Khurana, ex-Chief Secretary of Jammu & Kashmir.

Hard at work eh?

6. A bespectacled lady was doing round on a bike . She was learning to drive. The second lady was the intriguing case. Not the first one. The epitome of hounds becoming Baskerville basketballs was seen here. Do they expect me to be unreasonable to the hierarchical structure? They shouldn’t. I’ll simply let their arrogance turn them into the nimbus.

7. The black insect is called ghamra. A bird called Ghenga picked it up and flew away while my interlocutor was saying that birds don’t eat its kind.

Another about turn

1. I hear the birds making sounds. Variegated sounds. A pigeon and a kingfisher fly away from this tree as they see me approach towards this piece of plastic chair. Gulls are the only birds nearby who run as much as they do for their food instead of just sitting idle. Their strong legs make it possible. I see an empty and plastic bag lying on the floor.

2. The tractor driver was carrying sand. He has a temper and abuses the bus driver. It’s the second time I see him doing this within a fortnight. The narrow path becomes dust ridden air and I wait for it to settle before I start walking again. Flies were disturbing today during the walk and it was mosquitoes during the night which woke me up. Baby owls have flown away to another tree as I didn’t see them today. I have to be careful because the tractor driver was staring at me the whole day.

3. I had a small chat with the second tea stall guy whereas the first tea stall had this quirky security guy with whom I shared the snack. A Kadamba tree was planted. We discussed how it was more important to take care of new plants rather than just planting them. In an area dedicated to planting trees you might plant many trees systematically. He often stops guys randomly for lift perhaps because he’s in the police department. You walk again to hear some blabbermouths talk about 200 meters behind you. These people will be there to take away the silence from the dawn. Couple of them have been there at my house to ensure that night is never quiet. The second guy has been to my house a few times.

4. Another kingfisher flies towards the top of the electric poll. Some parrots are sitting on the wire. Orion belt was visible as I started walking this morning. The yoni of the Kaal Purusha is Ashva. It means horse. It’s powerful and it doesn’t forget its way around. I took a picture of ninnies grazing on my way. I wanted to watch a thriller flick last night but couldn’t as I fell asleep because of being tired. This is the closest I come to logging regularly without being influenced after the year two thousand and eleven after death when I had begun here on this platform. Since then I had seen enough of gaslighting online and offline to realize that freedom of expression is the biggest lie ever told. I was getting ready for the day as my phone rang.

Warily warily lyrically calculably!

1. I had a tea. I can hear horns from vehicles passing by. Though I need a chador in night it’s slightly hot in noon these days. Bearable. A guy from a nearby town came to our hospital.

2. I can only have a quickie as there will be students soon. One of these skipped class today, other skipped it yesterday and another skipped it the day before : the change in seasons affects immunity of people. I need to finish my homework before the students arrive.

3. Crows are cawing. I saw a stone on my way out. It commemorates the 1972 surrender of Chambal dacoits. I read the word “baagi” for dacoit. It’s a word which means ‘rebel.’ It also sounds like one used by the mystic poet Kabir; for callers for prayers. Baagi might also sound like gardners or garden visitors as gardens are called “baag” in Hindustani. It was written by the British censor.

4. I took the picture of a bull who was calmly grazing as vehicles were passing. There have been couple of transfers and they were making an inland empire of it. Sum of epiphany. Mosquitoes still bite you. People still spit gutka. You need to work hard for a day’s food. I had a chance to work with Madhuri Dixit.

5. What the heavens are you talking about? Maybe it’s because I am a writer.

6. I never understood why would people keep pets and boast about it. In most of the cases: it informs me that they are pathetic and lonely. They have hoarded money but lost lives to gluttony. Even more degrading are those who boast of having kept humans as pets. They are wretched. Just because you have a piece of land and paper and you have been here for two minutes longer than me: you pretend as if you own the nature. Which you do if you don’t need to pretend but not now because you have not tasted the spirit. And only from that time you are able to understand the wonderful things that nature has to offer.

6. Further details about the car accident: it happened yesterday about seven and the driver was drunk though it was only partially his mistake.

August Company Welcomes September!

1. Baby owls are still present on this tree. They changed the branch after seeing me approach. Three cyclists were doing tricks on road. Young kids. I saw a swift car parked about a hundred meters before the railway station with the debris nearby which indicated an accident. Just in front of the station gate, near the barricades, police has placed the drums, painted dark green, with “drive slow” sign. It sure did seem artistic. Our police is prompt like our parents but we expect more from them. That’s also a guiding force for them: our expectations.

2. The morning walk was quiet. The inland empire can’t be revealed in words. Like ever dazzling brilliant graceful dance of my beloved which fills me with ecstasy the obfuscating potency rules all beings and keeps them guessing about the next. It also creates subroutines for monotony.

3. Moon was out early yesterday, as one of my students remarked when it was seen peeping through the back of the tree. It’s approaching Bhadrapad Poornima. Recently, all my students scored low on tests. Is it a reflection of my lack of efficiency in teaching? I have limited tools and freedom and I don’t find them aware and willing to listen properly the basics which would enable them to learn easily.

4. A guy who comes from an under privileged caste background is making a documentary on the way a special pilgrimage has a political angle in this region. He seemed anxious about controversy. I agree that his safety might be at risk. Freedom of speech is an ideal far from having been materialized in so called progressive countries like America. India is certainly 300 years lagging behind. I don’t expect or long to see religious, political or socioeconomic justice materialized here anytime soon.

Bushes and Clouds!

A man in a white bushirt walks on the railway tracks.

He has a carry bag in his right hand.

Dust clouds as vehicles pass by.

Another man is waiting for him at the signal.

I exchanged the stick I was carrying.

Music of spheres!

Birds chirping.

A black bird perches down, another frolics, doing gymnastics in air,

A big white cloud is flying towards the North,

A beautiful butterfly flies in circles,

Dragonflies create amazing patterns

They have couple of flaps for wings on either sides,

Another tractor and another bike,

I could never understand why people talk on phones or to cotravellers when on road.

I can breathe deep for now,

The air is fresh,

I have this solitude to cherish,

To walk on railway tracks is difficult,

You can not look around,

Can’t look at the sky,

Each step has to be equal in measure,

It is better to walk below the tracks.

Bushes.

I saw a dead dark green snake laying on road today,

It was akin to one seen yesterday,

At another spot.

It seems the young brown dog has gone back on its tail wagging as it was barking playfully with its daddy.

Owls

1. Today there were two of them. One was sitting on earth and the other on a branch. Seeing me, they flew to a branch, looking curiously at me as I drew out the phone to capture their image. I think you can spot them easily in this picture though I had to zoom out fully in order to take it. The two were not a pair of young birds but an eagle and a hawk.

2. Goddess Laxmi who confers prosperity has owl as vehicle as per the myth. Mollock worship is well documented in western rituals. My net worth right now is 55 rupees and it was 5:55 AM when I took the shot. I see, there is a vehicle in the temple, but it is the temple god’s own vehicle, not an ordinary one like the temple carriage.

3. A crow, a sparrow and a flock of birds flying towards East. They all sing. My net worth could have been more if it was not for the sudden lucky draw in which the father of one of my students invested 2500 rupees. He said their power supply was cut because they couldn’t pay the bill. He was also waiting to get admission in his school for lack of funds. The other student is waiting to get enough money to buy a mobile phone without which his online classes can’t continue. The one who lost the bet is waiting to get back his money and he is a very honest boy.

4. The Sun is rising gradually. Taxi passes with a song. A bull is laying lazily whereas a red dragonfly was dead. A crane has begun to sing a song. Kingfishers are having their heydays as ample amount of food is available. Yesterday, I spotted at least six to seven of them. A family of seven red-breasted robins are chirping a song.

5. Here you’ve date trees, eucalyptus trees, shrubs and mango trees and many many electric polls. I started earlier today and the quiet dark walk until the second tea stall which was yet not opened was mostly me and my thoughts. I was glad that I did this because I was not hungry and I did not intend to buy anything.

6. The wrappers of the peppermint mixtures lay here. Reminding me of past few weeks. My life at present was somehow more mature.

7. I would continue to write until it is time for the news. Then I would stop. I would sit down on a bench nearby.

8. And enjoy morning tea with snacks. It would be the second tea. You might say I am addicted to tea but actually it’s the sugar which gives me energy to continue through the day. The habit is so ingrained in my body that whenever I am on a long journey I carry a flask of tea with me.

9. No, I don’t. I prefer tea stalls. It’s quiet here and I can sit and enjoy tea without a lot of bother.

10. You see many types of characters on tea stalls and they inspire you to write better stories. I would love to know about their stories and if they have any interesting settings.

11. One of them talks nonsense but it’s a funny kind of nonsense better than sensical talk of so called mature people. Most so called wise people talk about money or nationalism. Younger ones talk about women. You won’t find people talking about time travel on tea stalls and somehow if they do, they would most certainly be cigarette smokers who have watched couple of dozens of pirated hollywood flicks. So, what kind of stories do you write?

12. I have traveled in time. I have yet to meet another who says so. Leave alone meeting one who can travel at will. I have not met such a one anywhere else in the world.

13. Today is Monday, ruled by the Moon. Synchronicity has it: the north and south nodes of moon rule the day. The last day of the month. August ends. The south node of the Moon rules August.

Zebra Crossings

Two guys were near a narrow passage. They asked me if I knew a mechanic nearby. A man passing with a bicycle said that the Village of the Moon will be found soon if they kept walking towards the West. They put a green stick into the hole and kept driving their bike slowly. The bolt is called nut. A crow is singing. It is time to write my report.

2. A lifetime might not be enough for mastering a language like English. I have to look up so many words on a day to day basis. I think it’s because I have a poor memory.

3. I was taking snacks with tea when couple of sparrows perched down and I shared some granules with them. Then some crows, gulls and red tailed bulbous bird also joined them. They kept picking up granules cautiously moving their necks swiftly. The gulls were the most persistent. The young dog who was barking yesterday barked only once today, looked at my gait and then started wagging its tail, showing its friendliness. I asked him why he was so excited and he said: “Have you ever seen a real live zebra?”

4. There were couple of big dogs in the street today, soon after I moved out of the house, in chains which were pulled by two young men, there is another who does this in evening. Narrow streets and dogs which rush here and there randomly towards strangers don’t really make them feel comfortable. I don’t hold them guilty because they are usually going out very early in the morning when there are rarely anyone and I am a nobody. None of my problems have been ever registered as genuine but rather results of some malady, inborn or invented, cultivated or possessed , rendering me a freak of nature. The evening guy could have been more careful. However, things are what they are, I can’t change them else I would have changed them to suit my needs. There is no other way, I can only get what I want by making other people pay the price for my happiness.

Nakul: The Roller Coaster!

Weather is most pleasant this morning: neptunian, foggy and dreamlike. A baby owl was sitting here on a branch of neem tree where I found a piece of chair to scribble my ideas. Birds are festive and wind is blowing fast. It took me less time than usual to cover the distance today. It was also more quiet than usual today. A shop where welding work is done was open too early. Octogenarians were conversing sitting on the wall of the Shiva temple. A few joggers. The first tea was alright but the second was cold. I ran for a little while after coming to the city to cover the distance.

2. Something strange woke me up this morning. Something was moving near my left arm. It startled me and i woke up jerking the chadar to throw it off. I saw a rat which made a sound as it went away. It was a mole rat. A chhachoondar. I had to look up for the English word. I read a bit and now i realize that it might have come for the want of the heat as it is an ectotherm. Only mamallian thermoconformer. It was an indication that the temperature dropped this morning. Wind is indeed slightly cold compared to yesterday. It is a good thing that we have the chhach in the house.

Ten marks for spotting the baby owl in the picture!

3. I enjoyed the chai. The mild drizzling shower was refreshing adventure. There was no structure to it. The walawal means it has water and the walawalap means it is full of water.

4. A roadroller is parked here and I am planning on writing a verse. It is a rough draft and I have to think about it more. Edit: it was a roadroller not a rollercoaster.

Verse: rhoeo oeillade oeuvre revuue thermoconformist mist istar tartar arra It is not in the best condition. Sclerenchyma parenchymal malamal marmalade ladle soup coup the treat eat your fill walk a way! There are many other places to go to. Blastoma plastocyte phytoplankton tonnage age old gemmatria trialsome sommelier The sun is setting so I need to go.

Monkeys

There were many of them.

1. Monkeys refused to pose for me. Kaal purusha’s yoni is monkey today: I consider it a sign because I didn’t see any of them yesterday. I zoomed out and took the shot. It was near the peppermint processing plant. A dead water snake was lying nearby. It had flies on it.

Can you see the color?

2. The twenty rupees note in the picture above was given in change for the hundred rupees note by the tea stall boy. This is the first such note in my hand. Its color is different. I think about the icon of Gandhi. Since India is more populous than most nations except China: image of Gandhi draws more psychic energy than that of image of Hanumana, Christ or Rama combined together. Almost everyone uses money and every note as a rule has Gandhi on it. 10, 100 and 20 rupees notes have greatest circulation. You should not be surprised to see Modi, Patel or Golwalkar on currency notes very soon.

3. The cement truck has a burst tyre. I hadn’t noticed it until another truck stopped by here and they were talking about it.

Can you see the burst tyre?

4. A kingfisher perched on the main road before it flew back to the electric wire. A nightingale sings.

5. A tohu verse in the making:

Birds

1. Birds are chirping sweet on the branch of the neem tree. I am free. For now.

2. It rained since yesterday evening. It was drizzling as I left the premise with my students. It was quiet until the class wasn’t over, then it started drizzling until it drenched us. It has been happening for two days.

3. There were 4 cows and 13 mules being driven towards the village of the Moon by a man. Here is the place to insert the latest pictures:

4. I politely requested this dog to pose for a picture.

5. There were 8 tractors with trolleys full of sands. It’s a highway which knows no rest. Dogs are marking their territories by urinating on truck wheels. A cement truck.

6. The joggers are on the rise. It was cyclists for a few days but I guess slippery roads after the rains might not be as conducive for cycling.

7. The green leech which bugs chickpea and grain are abundant under this tree. Couple of them are being hunted by a swarm of ants as distant pigeons warble. I never knew they were capable of such swift movements.

8. Maybe heaven looks like this. Maybe. But you need to keep walking in order to merely maintain the flow. The heaven is costly. Maintenance is costly.

9. I had a strange dream. It was like a surreal movie with signs. I had been missing such movies. The year has entered into a weather which might be conducive for reading and writing. I am trying to inculcate some good habits in my students. The feedback has been positive so far.

10. Yesterday, the granny beats the kid. Kid is unruly but the manner in which it happened is strange. First the power cut due to the maintenance. Then the hailstorm like sudden rain. Then the call about new willow from his mother even when she knows that it’s the class time. Then altercation. The beating. Kid wants me to speak lies on his behalf whereas grandma imposes all the rules for me. The contract of employment strains me some times.

Devil’s Workshop

There was a day when Devil took off. His pupil gathered in his workshop. An empty mind is his workshop or so you have heard. An empty mind is an empty workshop. You plant a counter charged with something or else in it. What happens? A counter comes out of the emptiness: you witness that where there was nothing, neither positive nor negative : there, you have an emotional charge, an effort. This is devil’s ruse. By the time you realize, you have lost it. Pay attention: you start defending something you had nothing to do with. This is what all news and media are about. This is what your conflicts are about: religious or otherwise. No matter which side you take you end up working for the devil. Either you lose yourself, or you lose others.
